Hi, I love your products and non subscription based business model. Your EV load management solution is so close to what I need, but my power source is 480VAC 3 phase 3 wire delta (pre transformer). For this project I’ll be buying 15-30 EV chargers initially and upto 90 in phase 1.
I have no problem using an external meter with modbus and pulse output like this:

Is there any kind of gateway I can use to get this back to your servers so we can load balance from that input?
Thanks!

BTW, I made a similar post on reddit seeking a solution and with more details on my use case. If we can find a solution, I’ll update that post as well.

Perhaps this 3 phase power meter that seems to support 480V L-L and outputs to zigbee could be used?

To communicate with the vue utility connect to enable dynamic load balance?

Please let me know.

Also! Our charger ONLY supports 208 / 240VAC @ 50 / 60Hz.
Right, if I wasn’t clear: the plan is to install a large transformer between the 480VAC 3 phase delta panel and the 240VAC 3 phase subpanel where the chargers would connect.

Contacting support basically said monitoring 480V 3 phase panels may be considered someday.
In my opinion, your devices either need a way to accept RS485 Modbus input or your datacenter could accept Modbus TCP messages from smart meters over the internet, the aforementioned Eastron meter supports this: https://www.eastrongroup.com/product/panel-board/ethernet-modbus-tcp-three-phase-panel-mounted-panel-meter-for-panel-board.html
The source IP will be unique to each customer, and you could support Dynu or ClouDNS for customer IP lookup for those customer unable to secure a static public IPv4 address. This would be the easiest way to add support for monitoring higher voltage 3 phase panels that are popular in the MDU space.
Condominiums / apartment buildings / MDUs are the big unmet need in the EV charging space. Please consider supporting this use case, as the unmet need/market potential is very large. I am happy to work with you to develop such a solution as I currently have one of these Eastron X96 meters on my network and can send Modbus TCP packets your way now.
