When I perform an export, I can select up to today. The export itself will be a partial day’s data; however this is not known to the recipient of the extract. I assume this can happen on other extracts on the HOUR and MINUTE.
The export should mark this problem as incomplete in some meaningful way; inform the user during the extract (default to select complete scenarios) or create a separate partial file. Just don’t include this at all until it is a proper calculation; and yes this should take care of systems that may still be buffering in a temporary offline situation.
Otherwise if you rely upon an extract you can get incorrect computations and dropping the last line of each CSV is rather silly solution.
