Only room for 1 breaker

  I only have room for 1 breaker. Looking at the documentation for the VUE 2 it deals with 0 or 2 breakers available. I assume I can install 1 new breaker and then tie in the other line to an existing breaker? Does it need to be directly adjacent to the existing, because the bottom breaker is a duel pole breaker.
