I work in the manufacturing industry where we build machinery that run at 30-200A at 480v 3Ph.  Power monitoring is becoming more and more of a requested feature on our equipment and our current solutions are $1,000-$10,000 which can be integrated in to a PLC but in most cases not used. Many do not offer wifi on the lower end and cloud monitoring is all subscription based.

I am struggling to understand why the VUE 3 did not increase the sensing voltage just enough to support the 277/480V.  There should also be a larger CT to support higher amperages and 5Hz wifi. This seems like a complete missed opportunity with this updated design. I welcome a higher priced version that could easily support the commercial industry and I would easily be able to recommend to our customers. Our manufacturing facilities are also being requested to add power monitors throughout our buildings and machines.

In exploring the possibility of using the VUE 3 during commissioning. I have already tested using  the existing VUE 3 in a 480V machine and it works great. Since it isn’t listed as a supported range we are not permanently installing them in a power distribution panel. I am really tempted though.

The wifi at 2.4GHz is not supported in my office due to security risks. Even using a 5GHz Ethernet adapter is restricted and running Ethernet to all of these panels is not possible.

We have a demand for up to 100 of power monitors but until a new version comes out that can support these I am recommending that we wait for a “VUE 3 Commercial” or “VUE 4” with the features I suggested becomes available. I would even advise making the Commercial version subscription based since most of these customers will have more than 20 energy monitors at a location.

Please Emporia, you have a great product and a huge opportunity here. Please update as soon as it is on the schedule for the next version.

This medication is an oral medication that is easy to swallow with water. Take a dose of Vidalista 40 Mg with water at the prescribed dose without changing it or overdosing yourself. Do not try to take the Vidalista 40mg more than once every 24 hours unless your doctor tells you otherwise. It is best not to take it with other things like fruit juices or alcoholic drinks and only take it with water. Once taken, it can last for over 4-5 hours without the need to take frequent tablets. Vidalista pills can be taken with or without food.

That would be nice, just like I would like to see a model with more than 16 circuits supported.

But it’s just not the target market for Emporia. They mostly make products for residential applications.

Shouldn’t be too hard to build something custom if you can source the proper CTs I would think.
