For June I am at 6761 amps on total usage A.

      Total usage B is 4515.

      Shouldn’t they be equal?

Is this causing my electricity bill to be high?

I do have a high bill ($500/month pretty much every month) and have been trying to figure it out.

      Thanks!

      Hi Conradhenry,

This is a fairly common situation to run into – nothing to be too concerned about. Most common reason for this happening is running more single-phase appliance loads on one phase over the other. This difference wouldn’t cause any pricing changes since usage is usage to the power company (and all measured in kWh) – balanced phase usage isn’t really a consideration for utility billing. Feel free to reach out to the support team directly if needed to try and track down where your usage is coming from, the Emporia tools at your disposal should be able to get you the answer you’re looking for and we can help if needed.
