Hello.  I purchased this device to monitory my panel for Max Amp peak to see if I have enough amps to install an electric vehicle charger.  In other words, I want to view the highest peak that my panel drew over a week or month.  The app shows this only in seconds or minutes, but how do I know the max amp peak over a week or month?

      Thank you!

From the “Home” screen in the phone app, you can select “Net Usage” this will show the “Monthly Peak 15 min Demand” in kilowatts, to determine max 15 min A = W/V. I have used 220V not sure what the app uses.

the demand-monitoring / energy-management version of the Emporia EVSE, can dynamically lower the total demand on your electrical service.  It would probably make capacity upgrade unnecessary.

That’s a nice feature of deprioritizing the car charging.  It might take a little longer, but most people would not notice, and it requires no driver effort to manage the charging rate down and up to whatever is available at the moment.
