Minute level data retention limit?

Is there a limit on the length of time minute level data is retained? I installed my vue on 2/11/2020.  I had been requesting extracts pretty regularly. However, I didn’t download them immediately and hadn’t realize that the extract is replacing the zip file rather than adding a new one with a unique download URL.

I finally got to the point where I wanted to load my usage into my analytical database and realized that the most recent data I have only goes back to 3/13/2020 at 9AM.

This leads me to a few questions (apologies if these are answered elsewhere on the forums):

1. Is the minute level data cleared on a rolling basis, and if so what is the retention length?
2. Is there any possibility of recovering the data for the missing time period (for me it is roughly 2/19/2020 – 3/13/2020)?

Can I also add to this request to help better understand the downloadable data – for when things are in Hour or Minute…what does that data represent?  Is it an average for that minute?  Min/Max?  Is that data available?

Good Afternoon @ds679 @mcauliffetj,

The 1 min data is retained for seven(7) days.   We are unable to get the data outside of these retention periods.    The data is represented in averages for the particular time period being downloaded.

Please see the data retention below:

• 1 second data is retained for 3 hours.
• 1 min data is retained for 7 days.
• 1 hour / 1 day / 1 week / 1 month / 1 year data has unlimited retention.

This is great info….now I’m just itching to see the ‘Automated Download’ request to be implemented?  Better yet – api integration with something like https://emoncms.org/ where storage will be up to us!?
