Sorry if the header is confusing but I am trying to figure out the best way to setup my new Emporia. I set it up on my interior sub panel only to find out that only hosts the “house” circuits and the ones I care about are outside. My plan is to buy another Emporia but need some assistance how to best wire it. The setup outside is 300A service to an exterior panel with (2) 50Amp, (1) 60amp (1) 70amp and (2) 30amp circuits -total 290amps. I know one of these goes to the subpanel and the others must go to my AC compressor, air handler, dryer, water heater, and (?range). These are all 240 double pole breakers.
I know the Gen 2 50Amp lugs can do 75amp per so Im not worried about that but placement has me confused. I’m thinking a Gen 2 16 with 50amp clamps on each leg of all the circuits outside with the exception of the interior sub because I already have that taken care of. Would I use the 200amp clamps outside on the service in from the provider or will all the 50amp outs take care of the aggerate 290amp measurement?
Also, with the limited breakers how would I wire the power of the Emporia. The smallest circuit is 30 amp but its 240 volt and if I only wire to one leg of each wont I be out of phase?
Thanks
