Good news! Your Smart Plugs just got a little bit smarter!
We launched a new firmware update for Smart Plugs over the past weekend that includes on-device schedules for more robust behavior in the occurrence that a Smart Plug may lose network connectivity. This firmware update was OTA (over the air) and was deployed over the course of last weekend automatically to all connected Smart Plugs. This new feature comes with a small caveat that we’re only able to store 20 schedules per device at the moment. We’ve notified all customers who had devices with more than 20 schedules enabled, but feel free to reach out to the Emporia Support team if you have any questions about this restriction.
