      Hi guys,

Emporia Vue Gen 2 product suggestion:

      1) I suggest that a config option be added to allow the “Balance” line to float in the various views so that it appears just like any other circuit and is sorted in descending kWh/units. This would allow better visibility when the load changes on the unmonitored circuits. E.g. if there was some unknown device that intermittently turns on, the Balance line would “bounce” up the ladder and lead to more awareness of when this load changes.

      2) A second suggestion would be the ability to configure the Balance label to be something else. In my case I would have preferred something like “Unmonitored Circuits” or “Others” which I find more intuitive. A config option would allow the user to customize the wording per their needs.

      Thanks

      Dennis

It would be good to allow substitution of other circuits (kind like subpanel nesting).

In my case I  have 1 RCD (with CT) and under it I have 5 breakers (and 1 of it has another CT),

so RCD CT is doubling reading from Breaker CT under it. Also Balance is showing incorrect value as it exclude load from this circuit 2x.

The option to have the Balance row float with measured circuits would make a lot of sense.

I also came here to ask that “balance” be a regular circuit that sorts according to its value,
has a history, can be graphed over time, etc.

Tracking down that the HECK is creating unmonitored usage is WAY easier if you know when it happened!
