ANSI C.12 revenue grade Market is perfect – best product – agnostic

The US’s ISO have a great need for automatic reporting of Solar PV production data in order to market and sell SREC both bundled and unbundled.

Emporia energy monitor is the most compact and robust and accurate for the money I have seen.

This could easily be a $2-3 fee per month subscription to have the solar generator plant submit automatic production data with PJM-GATS on a monthly basis so that compliance for State incentives is streamlined and sustainable.

The current market is an absolute catastrophe in my opinion that is desperately looking for a good solution like Emporia Energy.

Even +/- 5% accuracy is acceptable in most PV systems with DC nameplates less than 25KW – 99.99% of all residential U.S systems.

At 25 states adding 10,000 PV systems per year – the next 5 years could be easily a 50% market penetration for Emporia.

      1,250,000 total PV systems – 50% could be Emporia Energy monitoring – $75,000,000 – $112,500,000 over a 5 year revenue stream!!

The worlds most popular inverters are mostly not supported by PJM-GATS and SRECTrade:

This is the list that are supported for an example by SRECTrade:

      Enphase Enlighten*   (mainstream)

      Draker, Inc.

      Power Factors

      SolarEdge*    (mainstream)

      EG Supplies

      Solar-Log WEB

      ABB

      inaccess, inc

      SORAPRO

      AlsoEnergy

      Locus Energy

      WisualPower

      Deck Monitoring

      Noveda Technologies

      eGauge

      Fronius  (mainstream)

Only 3 mainstream visual recognition inverter vendors ??

Missing   APSystems,  SMA, Chint – 3 big powerhouses.  Many others as well.

Growatt’s low cost, all in one inverters are starting to make huge inroads into the DIY HOME SOLAR MARKET. Commercial installers don’t like them because of the margins. I agree, a monitoring system that can capture this market is sorely needed.
