CT Orientation?

I mentioned this in my intro but…
I find installing all the CTs backwards (so CT cable points away from the CB) does a better job of keeping CT cables under control. This way those CT cables lead naturally to the wiring gutters along the sides of the breaker box (where there is more room for them) and gets them clear of the opening in the breaker box cover. I suspect solar readings will still be correct if all CTs are installed per instructions or backwards, but that’s a guess.
I probably need to “clean up” my cables some day so other approaches/recommendations would be appreciated.
