Does anyone know if the emporia vue measure true rms? We are trying to tie out the emporia measured watts on a pentair intelliflo pool pump with the watts reported by the pump itself. Emporia is reporting about 3 time as much. We’ve identified power factor and waverform distortion as possible culprits. Emporia Vue gen2 claims to report real power and account for power factor, but the power factor is not reported to the user for some reason, so we can’t do much to confirm that. However we don’t know if the emporia is using true rms or averaging , which could also make a big difference on an advanced variable speed motor like the intelliflo. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
