As a European, though looking at American breaker boxes it seems the same, I see that there’s not a lot of space to put the branch circuit breakers on. As an accuracy, aficionado, the loss of accuracy on an open ‘clamp style’ CT transformer hurts me. Granted, Clamp styles are easier for installation, but having to energize the whole board and spending quite some time installing them, having to properly install them is a tiny burden. Especially if this helps in a more secure fit and higher accuracy.
On top of that, CT coils tend to be custom made or custom orders, which is much harder. And with the new Vue 3, using a different CT coil, is just a matter of buying something.
As such, I thus request to offer donut style transformers. A good example is for example hte US made measure logic MLG-EET-0350, which I have one piece of from a different project, but obviously there’s more vendors with more products.
Would be a good idea to introduce these in combination with the European launch of the Vue3 🙂
