First off, thank you for creating this product. It was super easy to install (plug into wall and call power company) and works well with your smart plugs.

The problem I am having is with the accuracy. I thought the Vue Utility communicated with my smart meter to relay to me the power consumption, but what I am seeing are 2 different readings over a month of time. Maybe there is an issue with the switching from import to export (due to solar). But a 24% difference is quite high…

      Hello @e2russ,

Thanks for reaching out to the forum and bringing this to our attention.   We will look into this for you.  If you haven’t already done so, could you please email support@emporiaenergy.com so we can pull up your account and look at the raw data to determine why are readings are not the same as PG&E.

      Hi Marty,

Thanks for looking into this. It looks like I’m not the only one who is having a problem. You can read more here- https://community.emporiaenergy.com/topic/inaccurate-readings-from-vue-utility/#post-6478

Sounds like Chuck and Team Emporia have a good idea on what needs to be fixed. Can you check on the timeline?

      Thanks

      Hi Marty,

It looks like another customer is having the same issue with inaccurate readings.  Do you know if this is being looked at?

Did you ever find a resolution to the discrepancies?
