Energy Discrepency

Hi All, New member and Emporia user here.  My system has only been setup for a couple of days.  However, want to explore something that doesn’t seem to be making sense.

 

Attached you will see the Graph from my “Main”.  Which seems to be averaging 27.2 kWh per day.

Yesterday I pulled the meter reading which showed 84119 at about 9:00am, today pulled the latest at about 9:00am and got 84187, so a difference of 68kWh.

A little history…I purchased this device because my electric bill averages around $377/month.  The really only heavy electric users are my 100 Gallon Electric Marathon water heater (Which is supposed to be really efficient), and maybe an electric oven.  The rest of our home is fairly efficient…I thought.  Fully LED lighting, etc….

Any idea why we might be seeing this kind of difference in my “Main” readings and what I see on my meter?

I have figured out my mis-interpretation.  I assumed it was a 24 hour rolling “Day” reading in the app.  Instead, it is from midnight to midnight, so looking at it at 9:00 am only was giving me 9 hours worth of data.
