      Getting very good accuracy down low and up high 2%, reads as low as 5 watts 50A!  No more 35 cutoff. Notifications within app GEN1&2 can be custom set to show motor failing from bad bearings, start circuit or capacitor weak, windings and many more failures IF YOU KNOW HOW TO SET IT.  1 for surge current max startup watts for 2 secs just above  highest peak and 2 for running watts set just above running watts for say 10 secs.  Will be doing a YouTube video soon on GEN2 at “AD electronic teardowns” currently have most popular GEN1 video there.  Price on these is fantastic with 16+2 circuits is definitely the way to go.

      Good idea on the notifications!  Keep in mind that the running power for an AC compressor is highly dependent on ambient temperature (higher temps raise the condensing pressure of Freon and therefore the differential pressure the compressor must overcome).  However, this would work great for constant speed pool pumps, fans, etc.
