I could not find a comparison between Gen 1 and Gen 2 Vue on the website, did I overlook it?

The difference seems to be just that the expansion is built in and that it can support 16 circuits, and the sensor plug size is different.  Anything else?

In the future would features get added to the Gen2 that won’t be available on Gen 1?  and I assume I can use both in the app without issue?

      from support:

The key differences between the Gen 1 & Gen 2 Emporia Vue are:
      – Gen 2 is accurate within 2%. Gen 1 is accurate within 10%.
      – Gen 2 measures current, voltage, and phase. Gen 1 only measures current.
      – Gen 2 measures real power. Gen 1 measures apparent power, which can be exaggerated when monitoring things with a power factor below 1, like mini-splits, solar inverters, CFL light bulbs, and other inductive appliances.
      – Gen 2 can resolve solar generation in real time. Gen 1 is delayed up to 15 seconds.
      – Gen 2 implements a noise floor of 20W on its 200A and 50A CTs. Gen 1 implements a noise floor of 95W on its 200A CTs and 35W on its 50A CTs.
      – Gen 2 can monitor up to 16 individual circuits. Gen 1 can monitor up to 8 with the addition of an expansion module.
