      My electricity meter is read in the middle of the month. I wish I could set the start of the month to that date so if I go to the monthly view, I can get an idea of how I’m doing and what I can roughly expect to see on my bill.

      You can. There is a setting under “Household Info” titled “Billing Date.” Set it there. Works great.
