      Is the team at Emporia considering adding Matter support? There are a couple different integrations people are asking for (ex. HomeKit & SmartThings) which I think Matter would at least simplify if not completely cover. I believe they would still need to go through specific qualification testing for each, but I think Matter would cover the actual integration piece.

      Always biased to the smart-home platform I’ve bought into, but Matter support would just let this work everywhere.

      +1 for this.

      I want to add automation to turn something on based on temperature in a room with by ecobee or homepod temperature sensor, and matter support can enable this.
