For a house built in late 1950s it should be no surprise the wiring is definitely weird. There is one circuit labeled “Bedroom 2” which only has one load on it after watching for 3+ months. The load is 60 W, turns on about every 45 to 50 minutes, and runs for 15 to 20 minutes. It looks to me like a mechanical load (the power peaks initially at 100 W for 5 s and then quickly falls to 60 W).

      initial ramp

It has ramped up as the weather grew warmer (below freezing initially to mid 80s in degrees American).

      3 month increase

Here’s  a list of things I’ve checked: furnace (we have an older one and the blower is 400 W), fridge, radon mitigation, deep freezer, all of the outlets in the bedrooms/living room/dining room/kitchen/basement/office/garage. Thoughts?

Maybe a gable fan? Floor heating?

      What could it be….interesting.

Good thought, I will have to poke my head in the attic to see if there is anything up there. The house has a hipped roof and I don’t see any obvious powered vents on top, but your idea sounds better than any the rest of us have come up with. 😀

Floor heating is out, we definitely do not have that (sad to say).
