Offline Behavior Vue 3

I would like to request that Vue 3 be enhanced to have the Offline Behavior described for Vue 2 in the 2) paragraph at https://help.emporiaenergy.com/en/articles/9084193-offline-behavior

Internet providers for residential customers sometimes have outages for “maintenance” such as around 3am Sunday morning.

The corresponding Offline Behavior description for Vue 3 at https://help.emporiaenergy.com/en/articles/9084139-offline-behavior is worse, saying:
IMPORTANT! While offline, it is possible that the device may “lose track” of your energy measurements. Offline measurements are not guaranteed to be accurate or available once a connection is resumed.

Below is CSV-1Min for outage between around 3:16-4:20 this morning. The averaged data filled in is unreasonably low. Although we can’t be perfect/certain, I’d expect something on the order of .234 for Mains_A instead of .0065, something like .0633 for Mains_B (not .0017), .0077 or .0076 for FanCoilA&B (not .0002), etc. I thought that providing the -1Min would be most useful, but I normally look at -15Min so included it at the bottom since it acted differently – Mains_B was reasonably filled in with .0645 but Mains_A was still unreasonably low at .0463, other values were still low except the expected zero Garage was filled in with .0533 (maybe because my EV started charging a few minutes after the internet outage, before the next 15 minute period had started).

The link you posted is broken. My Vue 2 does not track data if the connection goes down it seems. The app just shows a straight line. Maybe if you restart the app after the connection comes back it shows up?

I recently got a reply from support that offline behavior for Gen2 and Gen3 are the same, so it seems they edited the web page I referred to (to make it the same). The second link works and now mentions multiple generations but I’m not sure whether the Note in green box is referring to the proper generations.

The support reply also said they are working on the data issue while offline but they don’t have an ETA at this time. I’m not quite sure how to interpret that, whether they wrote the web page before implementing the design or what. Straight line would be acceptable to me if it was close to accurate average or even matched the “last” or “first” value (before/after the outage). My report was that it does not seem anywhere near those three choices. Full data for <15 minute outage would also be nice but not really something appropriate to me (my outages are typically longer).
