It is useful to be able to tell by inspection that something is correct.
Due to the geometry of my breaker box, I had to install all the current transformer (CT) clasps with the K–>L (direction of breaker) label at the back, so that I can’t see it. This was not particularly a problem during installation. I could see which way it was supposed to be. However, if anything was not working, and for future troubleshooting, it would be useful to be able to tell by inspection that all the CTs were installed the correct way round.
This is a minor thing, but I assume it is basically zero cost, and it may save you some support calls in the future.
