Just set up 3 of my 4 Smart Plugs. What a mess.
Took over an hour to get one to be fully working. Stupid delays trying to connect with the Emporia Cloud. Eventually, it will connect and say that a Hardware Firmware needs to be updated. It NEVER says that the update was finished or had problems. The screen says that data may not be logged and Let’s Go! The screen should say that the update was successful and then shows the Let’s Go! button.
Now the app thinks it is working just fine and the blue light is steady. Inside the app, I select that Smart Plug to turn off or on. The Smart Plug does not make a move. After 10 minutes now I’m getting the slow red blink. Now it is back to steady blue. Now the one that was working OK is not.
Is there someone in Colorado playing games with me? On Off On Off Blue Red On Blue Red Off Red………
What I’m trying to say is that there needs to better and consistant communications between the app and the Smart Plugs.
