Start charge with Excess Solar Management

Hello,

Why cannot start charge my car with Excess Solar Management in App ?

I don’t need the emporia charger since the charging action can be done software, well that’s what I think

I can select Smart Plug only !

I expect the excess solar feature would start charging at the minimum power level, once the excess solar power is near or above that power level (about 1500w).  If the excess solar power drops below (about 1000w),  then it should pause charging.     If the excess solar power continues to go up, then increase the EVSE charging power.

Is there a description of how the feature works?    Thanks

Hello @DreamyGo It doesn’t appear you have a Emporia EVSE associated with the Emporia App?   In order for our optimize excess solar to function you would need both our energy monitor and EVSE on under the same Emporia App.
