what’s the process to upgrade from gen 1 to gen 2?

 

are the power, antenna, and sensor connections the same?

Hello @jc523 glad your interested in upgrading from the Gen 1 to the Gen 2!

The Antenna and 200A sensors can be used with the Gen 2, while the biggest change is the jacks for the 50 A sensors on the Gen 2 are 2.5 mm vs 3.5 mm.  Please reach out to us if you have more questions about upgrading you Emproia Vue

So was thinking of upgrading to the Gen 2 but wanted to reuse my 50A sensors. Do I just need to replace the 3.5mm plugs with 2.5mm plugs? (Let’s assume I know this is dangerous if I mess up).

Never mind – just found your adaptors on the website (not sold on Amazon it seems).

As long as the antenna and 200A sensors are compatible, i am happy.

I basically “fixed” my gen 1 antenna into the dry wall and went behind 100 messy cables to  put in the 200A sensors.

So what’s your road-map on gen 3? 🙂
