Hi Forum,
have a problem or phenomenon that I can not explain to myself. Hope you can;-)))
I have a 16A fuse on a 230V circuit where is only one socket connected. In between, right after the fuse, the VUE-sensor.
In addition, I have 2 meters that also show me the current consumption:
Fan heater: VUE 1900W, meter1 1900W, meter2 1900W.
Soldering iron: VUE 140W, meter1 140W, meter2 140W+/- a few watts each
BUT, when I connect the freezer: VUE 120W (!!!), meter1 60W, meter2 60W.
Does anyone have any tips or ideas on this?
Thanks and greetings

Okay, strange, apparently the device sometimes has problems detecting the correct voltage.
When I switch the “Units of measurement” to amps, it displays the correct value, which is about 0.3A, which multiplied by 230V is about (roughly) towards 60 watts.
Is there a way to display what voltage the unit detects per channel?
Another question: the csv export seems to provide only W numbers. Is there a way to change that to A numbers?Best regards,

Hi,
am surprised that no one is responding, I thought Emporia itself is also represented on this forum.
So, direct questions again:
Is there anywhere to see what voltage was detected?
Is it possible to add the amps in addition to the watts in the exports? And also the detected voltage per sensor.
If I can’t do this myself, can you include this as a feature request?
Thanks for any reply!
Kind regards,
Marcus

I am seeing a similar problem. Trying to figure out why some circuits seem to be showing incorrect numbers. From what I can tell if I switch to amps I get correct values, if I switch to watts I occasionally get incorrect values. In my case watts are much lower than they should be. To get this data I’ve been looking at real-time values one my phone and website at the same time. I have one set to amps the other set to watts. The amp values always look correct whereas the watt values do not with some circuits consistently reporting very low watts. I’m thinking the voltage measurements are right on one phase and wrong on the other but I’m not sure it’s that simple, and I’ve verified I have the Vue plugged into both phases.
