When was Gen 1 released?

i’m curious about it since i installed gen 1 around March 2020 and then gen 2 was released 4 months after that… now i find myself wanting to upgrade to gen 2.

should i suck it up and wait for gen 3? or maybe gen 4 has a built-in rocket that can get me to Mars?

I got my gen 1 back around September 2019, and that was pretty early on, but I don’t know when it was very first released.

Yes, I did just recently. Now, I have the Gen 2 with the 16 sensor in my main panel, and using my Gen 1 to monitor an outside subpanel.

i don’t have a subpanel. now i just retain my Gen 1 for the historical data

imagine what will happen when Gen 3 is released 🙂

I’m guessing, based on some replies from Corporate, Bezos will have a warehouse on Mars first.

Hi @dunkirk,

Hopefully the Gen2 you’ve upgraded to is treating you well. We don’t have any timeline on a Gen3 at the moment, so there shouldn’t be any worries about being “out of date” anytime soon. Enjoy and let us know if there’s anything we can help with!

And as far as warehouses on mars before Gen3… @waterboyz, not sure that’ll happen (given that reaching orbit might be an important step for them before traversing to another planet), but who knows?!
