i’m going to be a little honest here. i really like your product, but i’m concerned its going to turn into a subscription model, the devices are great, and i want to buy one, but like many others on here, i’d rather not pull day from you and cost you more money, i’d rather just post to my mqtt, or api that i can collect data with.
i have a rainforest energy monitor. it posts to my internal api that i then clean up and dump into mqtt. however SCE (our power company) has discontinued the HAN monitoring and my meter was just replaced because something failed in it. I’m looking for something new, and either i go some open source solution or i something more professional.
i’d really like to see alternative or additional mqtt servers supported.
