I recently installed two Vue 2 monitors, one with 8 CTs, and one with 16 CTs.
After extensive testing, I can say that the above information is no longer accurate. Testing was with firmware versions 334 and 356.
When the device is not active, i.e. when the app is not open and monitoring second data, the device sends data no more than once every 15 seconds (not every 5 seconds as stated above). And very often, data is only sent every 30, 45 or 60 seconds.
When waking up the device, i.e. when opening the app, it will send second data for the last 15 minutes, but only if there are 8 or fewer CTs connected. With 9 to 16 CTs connected, it will only send second data for the last 2 to 3 minutes. I wish I knew if this was a bug or a feature.
