i.e my mains monitors are reporting less total draw than the whole monitored system. I have my Emporia system set up with mains and eight circuits monitored. Not all of the circuits in my panel are individually monitored. Three of the eight are 240v circuits with only one leg monitored, using multipliers. The primary ongoing draw is the heat pump. Experimented with a monitor on each leg of the heat pump and saw they were within a very small fraction of each other, so I don’t expect that’s the issue. But nonetheless, I’m seeing my heat pumps drawing 110%+ of what my mains monitors are seeing. Is it possible the mains monitors just aren’t calibrated properly?

      thanks!

When doing the initial setup of the unit it asked for “significant” load to be on. Through talking with support they mentioned it should be >3 kW so I would recommend doing a reset and ensure that enough load is on to correctly calibrate the unit. I find my monthly to be within a few kWh of the utility bill monthly and this could just be the difference in time that they read the meter and I run the calculation; which is to say I find the meter accurate when it’s set up with sufficient load. Good luck 👍
