      I’ve had the Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger for a few months and successfully connected it to my car (Kia) with no problems. I now have another car (Hyundai) and when trying to connect it, the Emporia app won’t send the email with the PIN needed to complete the process.

      I’ve checked spam and junk email and nothing. It’s the same email address as the first car and I tried multiple times ensuring that the email address and passwords are typed correctly.

      I’ve checked for updates to the app and it’s up to date. I’ve checked Wifi connections, all good. The car itself connects fine to the unit and the app correctly displays information while charging. It just won’t send the email so I can add the car as part of the app like I did on my other car.

      I no longer have the other car so I can’t remember if there was any useful information so maybe I could leave it as a bug but is anyone else having this issue? The car is a Hyundai Ioniq 5.

      I just purchased the EV charger. I am also unable to connect my car, a 2023 VW ID.4. The confirmation email is never received.

      I logged into Smartcar and it indicated version 1.0 is discontinued as of December 2022, Version 2.0 is now out. I bet emporia hasn’t updated their app.
