Hello. I have had a great experience setting up a Vue Gen 2 at one residence.   I want to add a Vue 2 at a second residence.  Am interested in how readers have done that.   Use two accounts?    Use one account to display both homes?  How does that work with data downloads and smart plugs too.  Please share your experience.

      Thanks,

      JibeHo Richard

I’m going to do this myself soon.  Since the dashboard currently has no way to combine multiple units anyway I was planning to stick with one account and just have it show the multiple VUEs.  I already have multiple VUEs in one house and it shows them all separately.  Ironically, I wish they had a way to combine them (not just nesting, but as peers that can be summed).

I had to configure two accounts to accomplish this.  Painful, but I don’t see any other way around this, without possibly combining data from both locations.

Each Vue Gen 2 device is hard-capped to support monitoring for up to 16 individual circuits, but you can install as many devices as you need and manage them all with one account in the App.  You don’t need several accounts to manage several devices, only one Emporia account can hold as many devices as you need.
