I would like the app to capture maximum values of data over a user specified timeframe and offer a display of it. As an example, I would like to know the maximum Amps on my mains or any other circuit over the past min, hour, day, 5 days, month, etc….. This is valuable information to determine if a circuit or the mains are ever close to overload.

I would also like more than watts to be exported. Especially Amps and volts would be nice. Again for analyzing circuit load information.

I would also like notifications to be based on Amps as well as watts.

Good Afternoon @smithsrsn, thanks for taking the time to provide these recommendations for the app enhancements related to capturing maximum levels reached by specific circuits.  Having dealt with this personally – circuit getting overloaded – this is a great idea and I have shared with the development team.

This suggestion would be good as part of an overall approach by Emporia to help users manage Power Consumption in addition to Energy.  I’ve suggested that elsewhere but will keep mentioning it whenever it comes up.   You have the hardware and the measurements in place to do this, but haven’t made the data or app functionality available that’s quite right.

      – Finding circuits that frequently run at over 90% of breaker capacity (which I would have to provide)

      – Finding phase imbalance on mains.   Especially useful for generator owners.

      – Finding misbehaving pumps, motors, etc.   Things like a sump pump or disposal just don’t show up at all in long-term energy use data

Keep poking them with great ideas.  Some day I’ll catch up to you.

I totally agree with this! Having the ability to see a quick summary of max usage and/or production over X period of time means a lot for solar users. That way we don’t have to manually scroll through charts to get that info ourselves.
