Monitoring 50a mains

Hi,

I’m monitoring power usage on a boat and I’m trying to figure out if it’s possible to use the 50a CTs with the hub instead of the 200a CTs. My boat has two 50a shore power services and I’d like to use the smaller CTs because of their greater accuracy. When I connected them this way it seems as though the results are too large. I’ve applied a multiple of .25 on the notion that 50a CTs might deliver measurements 4x a 200a CT but that’s just a guess.

Is this possible?

@haveaday Hello Ben,  the 50a clamps are calibrated to work with the expansion module and not with the main module.   As you have determined if you do use the 50a sensors in the main module you should use a multiplier of .25 ( 200a vs 50a).
