Mounting the energy monitor in the breaker box

My mains come up from the bottom of the panel. To make everything clean inside the panel, I would like to mount the energy monitor at the top of the box. Is this OK with some mounting tape such as this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0833W1S6P?psc=1&smid=A2BVMWN8895J1B&ref_=chk_typ_imgToDp

Yes the Gen 2 can be mounted anywhere in the electrical panel.   Many customers, including myself, have installed the device at the top of the panel where there is the most room.  Using two sided tape is perfectly fine as well.

I too installed mine at the top of the panel.   I considered using mounting tape, but ultimately didn’t.  Instead, I used one of those mounting things for zip ties and wrapped the zip tie around some of the cables which holds everything in place.
