Normal reply to a post never works for me. Since there are no other replies, maybe it doesn’t work at all.
The monitor expects to see the current in one probe going positive and the current in the other probe going negative at the same time. If both currents are going in the same direction, that will confuse the monitor and it is likely that caused one side to report power going the wrong direction.
