      They need to be connected to breakers that are on different phases.   Tandem breakers will have both connections on the same phase.  It’s just a matter of moving one of your power connections to a different phase.   There’s actually a diagram somewhere on their website about this

      If tandem means you bridged together, the 2 breakers are not connected.  They are vertically on top of each other.

      See pic – upper right 2 breakers.  Also, I did reverse the  K->L so I have to reattach them all.
