    First Do not set up any schedule then with no schedule it will not change state IE: Of or On

    Second; on the set up page for the smart plug you want to make sure of the following:

    The SP is ON  and Control from Home Page is Off  to prevent you from turning off your fridge by accident form the home page.

    You can still turn it off from the setup page of the device.

    I have an electric heater that has an internal schedule in our master BR set up exactly this way except it is not on a monitored branch circuit, but is nested under the main feed for the sub panel it is fed from.

    I have several other smart plugs in the house that do run a schedule, some nested on branch circuits and another on its own circuit giving me 17 branch circuits that are monitored
