Judging by the number of spam posts “Effective Treatment for Bacterial Infections” reported but not removed,
Emporia is not monitoring the forums very closely.

I suggest chatting up support for those unhappy with the new graphs.

For those with more technical background looking for really flexible graphing
head over to the open project:

    Jesse,
The community might be able to grab the old “APK” file for Android users, that can then be sideloaded.
Turning off automatic updates in the app store can help protect you from new versions like this.

Scrolling graphs are very very much needed.
Even better if you could scroll one way for time forward/back, and another way to flip between circuits.

The user factors in the old app are poor enough, sadly the new app took such a big step backward.

+2 on this, unless I can only +1.
I spent a long time tracking down a balance issue on an Emporia setup.  Being able to have balance graphed identically to any other circuit would have made the trend clear (it turned out to be a defective clamp meter on a device that operated only occasionally).

PLEASE make “balance” a regular circuit.

Panels are so crowded, I have installed Vue outside the panel.
Open a knockout, run all the wires to a separate adjacent enclosure.  That solves the ethernet wire problem.

in reply to: When will we be able combine circuits? #10948 Report Abuse

I would absolutely use this feature, for monitoring both halves of a split phase (240V) subpanel, with two current sensors.
The big issue I’ve had with Emporia is tracking down “balance” errors: and the ability to both combine the two sensors AND see how balanced they are would be great:

    Subpanel   500W  (Split 300W/200W)

I also came here to ask that “balance” be a regular circuit that sorts according to its value,
has a history, can be graphed over time, etc.

Tracking down that the HECK is creating unmonitored usage is WAY easier if you know when it happened!

I’d love to have a doughnut coil option for the Emporia 200A CT clamps.
In the case of a wire based main, those might fit and avoid the need for Rogowski coils.
Yes, this would require removing and reinstalling the wires.
