I’m Jay in Austin, TX.  I wanted to know how much power we need for different items in the house so that a proper backup system could be selected.

My Vue is mounted in its own plastic enclosure to keep main breaker box uncluttered.  That also allows the use of a regular WiFi antenna since it can be inside the box.

The voltage connection was made to the 240V breaker pair where my whole-house surge protector is connected.

Setup went well with no problems.  So far, I am really pleased with the installation and power use reporting.
