I’ve now had 2 out of 4 smart plugs die on me for no reason. The first one I figured was a fluke and ended up tossing it a few months ago. Now I’ve had a second one die with the clicks of death. I’ve also noticed it’s happening on the units with the button on the front vs the side.
Sad thing is I switched from a competitor product that’s been installed for 4 years and still going on strong. Emporia’s plugs haven’t even lasted a year!
