Agreed, it’s the oddest implementation of a graph I have ever seen, especially considering the previous graph was fine. Who asked for this?

Interestingly, the developers added a left and right swiping/page feature to the graph, when this should have really been added to the Home (list of circuits) page. Tapping through arrows to go from hour to hour (while hiding the balance row in the process) is tedious. Let me swipe and page through this area!

WestdonkeykMemberExperiencing the same thing, noticed this first back in June, Live Chat agent provided the following details:
1. The cause of this issue is a bug on our end, our engineering team is now investigating this issue since this is extremely rare to occur on one of our in-panel energy monitors. This should never happen again on your device however, if you see any other odd behavior with this unit please reach out and let us know.
2. Sadly, our app team could not repair this data spike on their end. I did want to mention that this will be whipped out of the single-day time resolution in the app in a couple of days since we only keep minute data for a total of 7 days. However, this will still be shown in the monthly reports of the device but there is only a -0.820kWh difference in your total usage for this month. If you have any further questions please feel free to reach out, I am happy to help!A little disappointed to see this happen again, and if I hadn’t checked the app in the morning before my solar kicked in I may not have noticed it at all. Hopefully there’s a fix on the way soon, and I’d love to see this erroneous data pulled from my historical values so that it is more accurate.
WestdonkeykMemberThanks Doug, you’re right, I do have enough info to calculate Balance from my net mains and solar columns in the CSV.
What I’m realizing is even with that data, I still can’t sort out my In from Grid and Out to Grid values from the daily CSV sheet
My usage could have been all during daylight or all during the night, at the end of the day my net mains and solar would be the same, but those In/Out values and therefore my utility bill would look very different since they are measuring both in and out and billing both at different values.
WestdonkeykMemberRight that’s simple to do without solar when Mains = Total Usage.
With solar generation, Mains no longer equals total usage, I can’t just subtract my measured circuits from the mains and add solar generated back in.
The Emporia CSV shows Mains as more of a Net to/from Grid, so it doesn’t account for how much was pulled from the grid as part of my total usage. The app shows this information, In/Out from Grid get their own lines, but the CSV just shows the net value.
WestdonkeykMemberThanks for the update Kevin!

WestdonkeykMemberStill holding out hope for native HomeKit support.
Or if anyone is working on a Homebridge plugin?
Or Matter support??
WestdonkeykMember+1 for this.
Always biased to the smart-home platform I’ve bought into, but Matter support would just let this work everywhere.
May 23, 2024 at 9:35 pm in reply to: Allow Users to Enter Their Own ‘Time of Use’ and Rates in “Schedules” #10908 Report AbuseWestdonkeykMember+1 for this, and I only have to deal with a summer/winter rate. Can’t imagine time of day billing like others are dealing with, certainly limits some functionality of the app.
WestdonkeykMemberHoping the ability to graph calculated values hasn’t disappeared from the development team’s to-do list!
About a week using the app now and I am always confused trying to tap Total Usage, In or Out from Grid, or Balance and not getting a graph view. Certainly would help me trend my time of day usage outside of any solar offset.
WestdonkeykMemberAdd my name to the list of folks requesting this feature, would certainly come in handy!
