    I continue have problems with failure of smart plugs.  Any progress on a firmware update to fix this?

    I just had four more smart plugs fail overnight.  To be fair, there was an xcel power failure last night.  Not sure what kind of surge went through the smart plugs.  However, some have not failed…. And none of my electronics were impacted, so I have to think that this is a problem with the smart plugs.  This is very disappointing to me.  Overall now, I have had 8 or 9 smart plugs fail.  The behavior of the failed plugs results in whatever is plugged into them to continuously cycle on/off.  Very damaging behavior.  I really hate to think this, but I might have to reconsider my whole strategy with Emporia.

    I do indeed have a Vue2 installed.  Essentially, when the power was restored, the smart plug did not return to it’s prior “on” state, and further did not show up in the app.  The power button would not turn back on.  The only way to restore power was to removed the smart plug, then replace the smart plug. Essentially a hard reset.  I have over 12 of these things throughout the house, but only a few did not recover.  Weird.   Xcel will be replacing my meter here in a few weeks, this creating another power outage.  Will be interesting to see what happens.
