Welcome Ed! Glad you’re enjoying your Vue and it sounds like you have a great energy saving home. Thanks for your product ideas and we’d all love to see your photos.
Thanks!Jim @EmporiaEmporia StaffHey Ed (@Cooper2072)! Thanks for all the great feedback. As far as supporting additional Expansion Modules, our current hardware is not capable of this. There are limits to powering these devices, processing power, and digital to analog conversion that makes this problematic with the configuration we have now. That being said we’re working on new hardware that may help alleviate this need. Of course, you could always purchase additional Vue and monitor them under a single account with the Emporia app.
Regarding the automatic downloads, we’ve had this request before and we’re looking into it.
Regarding the directional Expansion sensors, we’ll submit your idea to the product team. If you use an Android device to run your Emporia app, you can try setting the multiplier to -1 on your expansion circuits. This might achieve your goal.
Jim @EmporiaEmporia StaffWelcome to the community, Glenn! If you get some templates built that you want to share with the community, let us know and we’ll host them on the site here.

Jim @EmporiaEmporia StaffWelcome @emilya! Sounds like you have a crazy system at your house. It awesome to hear that your Vue is helping with your energy bill!
Jim @EmporiaEmporia StaffI agree that would be ideal @sperlingj, but it looks like it would also require a development effort. I’d bet the community would rather we keep them focused improving on the Emporia App for now. We’ll put this in the backlog. Thanks!
Jim @EmporiaEmporia StaffWelcome to the community, Don!
Jim @EmporiaEmporia StaffThank you, @FACVP! It’s customers like you that keeps us going.
Jim @EmporiaEmporia StaffHey @sperlingj! Your suggestion has been implemented. Like away!
Jim @EmporiaEmporia StaffWelcome to the community, Curtis! Please keep us posted on your generator project!
Jim @EmporiaEmporia StaffYes @j30sailor, you’ll be able to see the mains as well as all monitored circuits in both actual usage and as a percentage of the mains. We’re also in the early stages of R&D on adding smart outlets to the mix. These will also factor into this view, but that’s hush hush for now 🤫.

We appreciate your feedback. As Marty said above, we are working on an improvement for panning the graphs. We’ll keep you posted on our progress.
Jim @EmporiaEmporia StaffInteresting idea, @Sstonema. We’ll pass along to our hardware team to see if it’s possible. One thing that many people don’t realize is that you can actually leave the plastic wrap around the sensor leads. Then, you can just pull on the plug end and just pull out what you need. Leaving the rest of the cable neatly in the wrapper. This doesn’t work for all installations, but it’s a cool trick nonetheless. Thanks for the suggestion!
Jim @EmporiaEmporia StaffHey @sperlingj! If there were a like button I would click it for your idea 😊. This feature isn’t in the forum platform we chose, but we’ll look into adding it either through a 3-party plug-in or custom coding it ourselves. Thanks!

Please try searching for your issue before posting a new topic. Also, we’ve moved your post to the proper forum to report bugs. That being said, we’ll get a fix out for this in the near future. Thanks!
