@vidyut Can you please reach out to our support team if you haven’t already? We can do a check install on your device and make sure everything is working properly if you are still experiencing issues with the readings.
The sensors are accurate to +/- 1% so I don’t think the variance is due to that, but to be sure if you can contact us we will be glad to look into it for you.

Marty @EmporiaEmporia StaffWhen you don’t see any readings or any of your expansion circuits this could indicate a loss of connectivity to your home internet. Have you tried a WiFi reset?
Tap the settings menu (three lines just below the Emporia logo), tap Manage Devices, Select Your Device, tap the Reset WiFi/Solar Setup , choose the Emporia product you would like to reset, follow the prompts to reconnect to your WiFi or Solar Set up.
If you are still having issues please contact us on chat or email support so we can further assist.
Marty @EmporiaEmporia StaffHello @Beefycakerson, thanks for your inquiry about the power factor setting. The Vue Gen 2 does measure voltage, current and phase to calculate power.
Marty @EmporiaEmporia StaffHello @Aidy88, thanks for finding this bug in our app. The software team has already corrected and it will be fixed with our next app release within the next 7-10 days.
Marty @EmporiaEmporia StaffHello @einvestor, matching your utilities billing cycle and rate plan is already under development. We are aware many of our customers are like you that have Time of Use plans and this is a popular request. We are working as fast as we can and hope to have this software enhancement out in the near future.
November 12, 2020 at 8:14 pm in reply to: Extend the Notification feature to the Balance #6552 Report AbuseMarty @EmporiaEmporia Staff@einvestor thanks for the feedback. Please note that the 50A sensors reach saturation at 75A, and if the load goes above that the reading will just be maxed out…no harm to the sensor or Vue.
I have already submitted your recommendation to allow for alertes/notifications on balance.
November 12, 2020 at 8:11 pm in reply to: Wifi connectivity diagnostic information. #6551 Report AbuseMarty @EmporiaEmporia Staff@rhorine wonderful idea and I have sent this to the development team for review.
November 12, 2020 at 7:47 pm in reply to: Frequency alert & date/time filter on graphs #6550 Report AbuseMarty @EmporiaEmporia Staff@rhorine Thanks for the Feedback! The notification based upon frequency of use is a wonderful recommendation and I will certainly pass that along. The selection of specific date and time range on the graphing is already on the roadmap! Hopefully that will be released early 1st quarter of 2021.

November 12, 2020 at 7:30 pm in reply to: Add option to disable/lockout power off/on on plugs (or confirmation required) #6548 Report AbuseMarty @EmporiaEmporia Staff@darkroom I have submitted this software enhancement to the development team. Thanks for taking the time to provide this insight to the potential issues should a SMART plug be toggled off.
November 12, 2020 at 7:27 pm in reply to: Intermittent Internet Access – Caching Data? #6545 Report AbuseMarty @EmporiaEmporia Staff@Gwrapps The Vue has minimal local storage so it can only capture granular data for about 5 to 15 minutes or so without an internet connection; however, the Vue also has a cumulative counter that will always keep a running total of the energy used on each sensor as long as the Vue has power. When your internet returns and the Vue gets access to our servers through your WiFi again, the app takes the cumulative values before and after the outage and averages them over the time of the outage.
So, if you look at one of those specific hours or minutes, they probably won’t be accurate. They’ll look a little strange because they’ll all have the exact same value.
November 12, 2020 at 7:24 pm in reply to: Allow custom notifications for Smart Plugs #6544 Report AbuseMarty @EmporiaEmporia Staff@gk1097 at this time we do not have alerts & notifications available on our SMART plugs. This enhancement is on our roadmap but we do not have a release date set.
Marty @EmporiaEmporia StaffAwesome!
Marty @EmporiaEmporia Staff@Howward L, thanks so much for sharing how the Emporia Vue helped you diagnose your issue with the capacitor! This a great example how with the information you gained from using the energy data collated by the Vue save money on a fairly inexpensive issue with your furnace.
