I agree completely.
I’m ok with a few words to describe the circuit but if there was a “button” to click that would open up a popup window that has whatever I typed in as a text box. I have every circuit in my house on a detailed spreadsheet. Some circuits have 9 things in that circuit. Some of those are not even related to the basic location. I have a relative that has 23 items on one circuit.
I seem to remember that this “could be” in an app upgrade. It was said, by Emporia, that the amount of information shown is based on the device. I’m on a tiny Android phone so hardly anything is displayed. I even installed Bluestacks to emulate on my desktop. Same thing, very limited information showing. It is not like you can scroll across to read the whole line.

I seem to remember that when there is a power loss, the Emporia averages whatever was going on before the power outage and makes that the power outage consumption. I’m not sure I agree with that.

Right on…right on.

Hey it looks like you fixed this!
I’ve been away from here for some time. Kinda got into overload with it so I moved onto other projects. I’m here now after-hours so all I see the the “bubble”. Not bad I guess…….2 months.

Local storage & access on the units please
The adding of an SD card has been mentioned elsewhere here but there is no activity on it that I’m aware of. I’d be willing to pay a pinch more for that feature.
waterboyzMember4 days later and no feedback………hummm
I have 3 of the “smart plugs” but I have not spent the time digging into the details. Maybe I should put on a pot of coffee and start looking.
waterboyzMemberBe careful Chevelka, the marketing wizards at Emporia will start hawking their monitoring system to Miners and charge a premium and you may not get an over-ride…..HAHA
waterboyzMemberI had connection issues during my setup. The stupid “updating” happened every time I started over. Some devices worked ok, some did not. Some actually connected the next day. Go figure……….

imagine what will happen when Gen 3 is released
I’m guessing, based on some replies from Corporate, Bezos will have a warehouse on Mars first.
waterboyzMemberAgain, JJ613 makes perfect sense.

Also I am not too concerned about my ISP going down during power outages. They must have their stuff running on some UPS and generators. Seems as long as I can keep my modem powered on the internet still works, at least this has been the case in the past.
I’ve had it both ways….
Utility down > Internet up.
Utility up > Internet down.

Maybe you need to post a pic or two so we can understand better. Are you adding the 3/4″ conduit and box or is it already there?

We don’t recommend extending beyond 30ft.
This should also help.
